Approved delivery facility
A warehouse that is authorized by an exchange as the facility where the parties to a futures contract can make or take delivery of the underlying commodities.
(1) Where appropriate, the terms licensed elevator (Canada) and approved silo (Europe) are also used.
(2) The term approved delivery facility is used in cases where the authorized entity is not a warehouse.
